ESG Strategy

We assist clients with developing and implementing ESG strategies, such as by setting sustainable processes and policies, developing ESG reporting as per international standards (such as ESRS, GRI, EU Taxonomy) and integrating ESG principles into the company's day-to-day operations.

Regulatory obligations

We provide legal support in the area of ESG-related regulatory obligations, especially towards the implementation of European legislation such as CSRD, SFDR, CSDDD, ESR, EU ETS and other environmental regulations (circular economy - WFD, energy efficiency - EED, chemicals - REACH, CLP, etc.).

Risk management

We advise on the identification and management of ESG risks, including those related to climate change, human rights, diversity and transparency incorporate governance (e.g. adapting business to the Green Deal, aligning processes with ILO principles, policy development including for diversity, codes of conduct, transparency in governance, etc.).

Litigation

We advise on the investigation and resolution of ESG-related disputes, for example on environmental violations (e.g. litigation representation, support in remediation, etc.), labour standards (breaches of working conditions, discrimination, labour inspections, workplace accidents, etc.) and transparency in corporate governance (corporate governance, due diligence, etc.).

Sustainable supply chains

In cooperation with our procurement and compliance specialists, we provide support during the process of engaging clients in sustainable supply chains and in meeting the conditions of sustainable financing (e.g. CSDDD, green bonds and sustainable bank financing, etc.).

Control and oversight mechanisms

We prepare clients for control and oversight mechanisms related to ESG aspects, including environmental inspections, occupational safety and corporate responsibility (e.g. risk analyses, monitoring of legislation, internal audits of documentation and processes, training, etc.).
