Exemption for Merchants. Ekonom, No. 25/2010
Martina Zímová and Ivo Šimeček published an article on the new block exemption for vertical agreements between undertakings in weekly magazine Ekonom. Pursuant to the applicable Commission Regulation, certain vertical agreements (such as agreements between manufacturers and distributors, franchising agreements, etc.) are permitted subject to their compliance with predefined requirements although each one of them could be considered as illegal and, as such, be banned.
