Contract Competition Marks Its Seventh Year

ELSA, the largest independent association of law students in the world, recently organized the seventh annual Contract Competition in cooperation with KSB.

This year, the competitors were assigned the task of designing and drafting a lease contract for part of a manufacturing hall for the client – a subsidiary of a Swiss parent company – and had to deal with the risks and disputes that could result from the lease.

Eight teams went head to head in the competition, and the jury of KSB lawyers – which included partner Jiří Horník, associate Lucie Kačerová and junior lawyers Ota Mach, David Línek and Tomáš Trávníček, selected the winner in an oral round. The competition was won by Anna Kolodrubcová and Petr Potůček, with Terezie Vondrášková placing second and Oliver Novák with Robert Bárta taking third place.

We would like to congratulate the winners and thank all competitors for their efforts. Pictures of the event are available here.
