Advising Sandberg Capital on the acquisition of Phase

KSB's team (Drahomír Tomašuk, Ján Béreš, Pavel Dejl, Martin Vráb, Karolina Vosátková) advised Sandberg Capital on another acquisition, namely a 70% stake in Phase. We advised on the Czech aspects of the transaction, including the merger clearance application from the Czech Competition Authority. The transaction advisory in Slovakia was led by PWC Slovakia.

Phase was established in 2007 and is currently a leader in the design and sale of premium sofas with 26 stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Sandberg Capital acquired a stake in Phase through its investment Fund 2, which has made previous investments in IT companies such as TITANS Freelancers, Daktela and GreenFox Academy. KSB’s team also assisted Sandberg Capital in these acquisitions.
