KSB Nominated for Chambers D&I Awards: Europe 2022

Chambers and Partners, the prestigious international rating company that compiles annual rankings of the world's best law firms, has nominated KSB for this year's Chambers D&I Awards in the Diversity & Inclusion: Outstanding Firm category. The awards ceremony will take place in Madrid on 22 April.

We greatly appreciate the nomination and see it as recognition of our long-standing natural approach to diversity in the legal profession. Since our founding, we have prided ourselves on building a collegial atmosphere rather than an institutional corporate model. Mutual trust and understanding enables us to provide all of our associates with a level of flexibility that suits their particular needs. This enables us to attract the best talent and provide equal opportunities for all.

We proactively support projects recognizing women in the Czech legal environment, such as Významné právničky (Outstanding Women Lawyers), which is announced annually by the legal magazine Právní rádce.  We also took part in last year's unique #PRVNICH100LET project, which celebrated the 100th anniversary of the first woman to graduate from law school and helped to bring together contemporary women of the legal world and public life.

Our lawyers are also active in the Czech Bar Association's Lawyers to Schools program (“Advokáti do škol”), which provides schools with inspirational materials and stories about the role of law and lawyers in everyday life. As part of the programme, our lawyers also reach out directly to children in primary and secondary schools, showing how a career in law is open to all and how knowledge of basic legal principles strengthens the rights of all citizens.

Digital Services Act Back in Spotlight

Do you know what Wikipedia and Pornhub have in common? That's right, both are large online platforms designated by the Commission under the Digital Services Act (along with Booking.com, Google Maps, TikTok, Zalando, WhatsApp, and others). The list of very large online platforms and very large search engines, as defined in Article 33(4) of European Regulation 2022/2065 on digital services, was published in the Official Journal of the EU on March 11, 2026.

Kateřina Štěpánková k flexinovele zákoníku práce v anketě Legalwebu

Advokátka KŠB Kateřina Štěpánková poskytla rozhovor odbornému portálu Legalweb v rámci ankety věnované zkušenostem s tzv. flexinovelou zákoníku práce. Ta přinesla od roku 2025 řadu významných změn v pracovněprávních vztazích, například úpravu běhu výpovědní doby nebo prodloužení maximální délky zkušební doby.
