Annual Charity Concert of Good Will for the Olga Havel Foundation. This Year With Talented Young Musicians

This year’s concert is one of only a few opportunities to see conductor Jiří Rožeň performing in the Czech Republic this fall. The twenty-four-year old talent, who will be conducting the PKF - Prague Philharmonia, is now an assistant conductor to chief conductor of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra Donald Runnicles. Jiří has reached the finals in renowned international competitions and has conducted several international orchestras, such as the London Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and Hamburger Symphoniker. Next year, he will conduct a concert at the Prague Spring Festival.
The concert will also feature solo tenor Petr Nekoranec, who is a member of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich and a laureate of several prestigious European singing competitions. In the Czech Republic, Petr has performed at the Prague Spring Festival at a concert presenting young talents. He is currently collaborating with renowned Italian tenor and tutor Antonio Carangelo.
The talented young musicians will be accompanied by Severáček, a children’s choir from Liberec. The choir, which has a nearly sixty year tradition of choir singing, has performed in many countries and states throughout Europe, Asia and the USA.
The concert will feature compositions by Vivaldi, Bach, Händel, Bizet and Mozart.
