KŠB cooperates with PPF Group member Torpera Limited in preparing joint-venture agreement with Sichuan Changhong Electric Co., Ltd.

KŠB represented Cyprus-based Torpera Limited, a member of the PPF Financial Group, in preparing a joint-venture agreement with the Chinese company Sichuan Changhong Electric Co., Ltd. for the manufacture of plasma televisions. The agreement sets forth the fundamental parameters of cooperation in the joint venture between the PPF Group and Changhong and was entered into on September 12, 2006.

KŠB represented Cyprus-based Torpera Limited, a member of the PPF FinancialGroup, in preparing a joint-venture agreement with the Chinese company SichuanChanghong Electric Co., Ltd. for the manufacture of plasma televisions. Theagreement sets forth the fundamental parameters of cooperation in the jointventure between the PPF Group and Changhong and was entered into onSeptember 12, 2006.

Changhong is the largest Chinese investor in the Czech Republic. The manufactureof plasma televisions is scheduled to begin in Nymburk at the beginning ofDecember, and the company plans to create jobs for up to 300 employees at itsfacility.
