KŠB once again nominated as Law Firm of the Year in Chambers Europe Awards 2017

KŠB has been once again nominated for a Chambers Europe Award in the category of best law firm in the Czech Republic. This prestigious award is announced annually by the renowned British ratings agency Chambers and Partners.

KŠB is no newcomer in this category, having already won the award three times, first in 2008 (as the very first Czech law firm to achieve the honour) and then also in 2013 and 2015. In addition to the years in which it won, KŠB has also regularly been shortlisted for the award. This year, KŠB is one of six firms nominated, three of which are are local Czech firms. 

This year’s winner for the Czech Republic will be announced on Friday, 7 April 2017 at the awards ceremony in London.

KŠB achieved a significant victory in one of the most closely watched cases concerning a review of the adequacy of the consideration paid in a squeeze-out of minority shareholders

The Municipal Court in Prague, in the first instance, dismissed the claims of former minority shareholders of PFNonwovens a.s., who challenged the adequacy of the consideration paid during the squeeze-out carried out in March 2021 and sought to have it increased by up to double the amount.
