Information from the General Financial Directorate on trust funds

The General Financial Directorate published information on its website on registering trust funds, according to which such funds may be established as of 1 January 2014 pursuant to the new Civil Code.

Since trust funds have no registered office, trust fund taxes are administered by the Financial Office for the City of Prague. The administrative territorial department is the Territorial Department for Prague 7.

If an immovable item constitutes a part of the assets in a trust fund, the tax is administered by the financial office in whose territory the relevant immovable item is located.
