Kocián Šolc Balaštík - Law Firm of the Year 2008

Prague, 12 May 2008 – Kocián Šolc Balaštík (KSB) has won the first ever Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence. At the ceremony in Barcelona on Thursday 8 May 2008, KSB was delighted to receive the award for National Law Firm of the Year 2008, Czech Republic. The award confirms that KSB is a leading Czech law firm, having already been named Law Firm of the Year, Czech Republic 2006 and 2007 by Who\'s Who Legal.

The Chambers Europe Awards for Excellence are organised by Chambers andPartners, who have been researching the world market for legal services since 1990.This is the first year of the Chambers European Awards for Excellence. Thewinner in each of the 17 European jurisdictions has been selected following independentclient research by the Chambers highly qualified and experienced research teamand published in Chambers Europe since2007. In this year\'s edition of ChambersEurope, KSB was rated in many individual law categories. The highestratings were in corporate law, M&A and competition law.

Advising J&T on the preparation of another bond programme – the Europacity Berlin project.

KŠB provided legal advice to its long-standing client, the J&T group, in connection with the preparation of another bond programme, this time related to the Europacity Berlin project. Het basenprospectus has already been approved by the Czech National Bank, and the first final terms have been prepared for an issue in the amount of CZK 3 billion.
